Canada is seen as a country that is committed to sustaining peace by promoting a kind of foreign policy marked by prudence in avoiding military intervention and readiness to intervene in humanitarian crises.
Justin Trudeau's international success has given even more exposure to the Canadian virtues of multiculturalism and hospitality. Following these principles, Prime Minister Trudeau formed a government in the autumn of 2015 which reflected the “diversity of Canadian society”.
