Russia begins its major electoral season: in March and April, 15 “Subjects of the Federation” (republics, regions and territories) will vote to renew their legislative assemblies. This will be a dress-rehearsal for the political elections of 2 December for the Renewal of the Duma. Finally, presidential elections will be held on 9 March. This is how Vladimir Putin and his opposition are preparing.
