Gaidar: I support Dimitri
Yegor Gaidar, Russia’s prime minister in 1992, was at the centre of a mystery of sorts following the poisoning of Litvinenko in London, when it appeared that he too had been poisoned. Now in good health, he blames Russia’s enemies for the events. He has a positive opinion of Russia’s economic situation and is optimistic about the programme of Putin’s successor.
