The current mood of the Demo- cratic Party in the United States was a perfect match for the grey Washington sky during Donald Trump’s Inauguration Day, gloomy to say the least, and not only due to the stinging electoral defeat. The bleakness also reflects the total lack of ideas regarding the future of the party. The Hillary Clinton gambit proved to be a total washout. And there are no new, charismatic faces capable of leading the opposition against the new president.
