Intelligence in the cybersphere

In the collective imagination, the term “espionage” identifies an activity that dates back to the dawn of time, encompassing a whole range of professional skills, tools, gimmicks, methods, behaviour and psychological manipulations of various kinds. During the Cold War, intelligence operations resulted in intrigue, murder, the acquisition of secrets, double agents, the exchanging of spies and an unstoppable development of a variety of different technologies.
