Will Brazil soon have its own Donald Trump? It’s too early to say. Elections in the country with South America’s largest economy will take place in October 2018. But Jair Bolsonaro, a seven-term congressman from Rio de Janeiro, hopes he can win the presidency by spouting the same populist rhetoric that secured Trump his office in 2016.
