And he has reportedly enlisted one of the world’s most renowned storytellers, Steven Spielberg, to begin weaving his ‘narrative’ – or presidential legacy – even before he leaves the White House.

A narrative is friendly; it’s a story with which we can all identify. We love and need stories; they allow us to live others’ lives vicariously. And they are the heart of the American film and TV industries, which are taking a harder look at their own narratives.
