Italian-Turkish Forum
Politics, economics, bilateral relations and the role of women in the evolution of Turkish society: these were the subjects under discussion at the second Italy-Turkey Forum held in Istanbul. The first forum took place in Rome in summer 2004. The delegations from the two countries were large and high profile, as the introduction to this document shows. Two specific issues were discussed in depth: the Cyprus issue in the political work- shop and the role of women in the socio-cultural workshop.
