Israeli breakfast is one of the most abundant breakfasts we know. Since the beginning of the twentieth century, kibbutz workers usually started to work very early in the morning, so when they got back for a break, after several hours, they used to eat very rich food, to start to work again with the right energy. Mainly, they used to eat what the kibbutz had to offer on the day: milk, eggs, cheese, olives and fruit.
Sushi is a very popular food all around the world. Outside of Japan, in fact, we can count more than 24,000 Japanese restaurants. Many people think that this food has Japanese origins, but…they’re wrong. Sushi in fact wasn’t born in Japan, but more probably it was born in China.
Chamomile is one of the most indicated drinks to cleanse the body after the long Christmas lunches and dinners. Its scientific name is "Matricaria Chamomilla" and grows wild mainly in spring / summer, especially in Europe and Asia. The name comes from the greek "chamáimēlon", which is itself composed by two words: "chamái", which means "land" and "melon" which means "apple", for its smell that resembles the rennet one.
Beer is one of the oldest beverages in the world. The first evidence of beer on hearth has to date back to more than 6000 years ago. The Sumerians used to drink this "liquid bread", called "sikaru", which was one of the first beer ever invented. A few centuries later, the beer also appeared in the "Hammourabi code", which condemned to death those who weren't manufacturing beer according to established criteria.
