The era of two superpowers facing off is a period openly and unanimously mourned along the corridors of the NATO Headquarters in Brussels as the good old days before the fall of the Berlin Wall. After all, it did guarantee four decades of relative stability and security to a sizeable portion of the planet. During those years, the US and Russia (surrounded by a host of satellite countries in the Soviet Union) were busy maintaining some semblance of mutual control over the scales of terror.
