Saint Petersburg’s Kadyrov bridge. When Russians make their voices heard


The myth of Oblomov describing the Russians as lethargic, apathetic citizens and unwilling to change the status quo is often contradicted. As in Saint Petersburg, where thousands of people are demonstrating against the authorities' decision to name a bridge after Akhmad Kadyrov, father of the present Chechen strongman. Those are the warning sign that the Kremlin does not like.
