Slovakia – on the path to Euro and knowledge economy!


Over the last 4 years the Slovak economy has been experiencing a period of extraordinarily high economic growth, both compared to the previous period and to the whole regional performance. This trend is generally considered to be an outcome of the reform process that took place after 2001 and led to structural changes in the economy, accompanied by an increased inflow of investments followed by production capacity building and consequently an increased pace in the catching-up process.
