The Brexit seen from the south

The result of the British referendum will lead to major economic and political-strategic changes for the future of African nations.

Then British electors voted to leave the European Union in June, the aftershocks were felt around the world. And Africa was
by no means exempt from these effects, especially considering the continent’s ties to Britain, which date back to the colonial era. After the referendum, a number of African economists and politicians acknowledged that the Brexit could end up radically altering existing trade agreements between Europe and Africa with negative repercussions for the latter.
