Rome, 17 November 2020
The eastwest newsstand, owned and operated by the Director of the Eastwest European Institute, Giuseppe Scognamiglio, has today become a point of reference for foreigners, researchers and residents of Rome interested in international politics.
Following the goal of transforming the newsstand into an agora public space for debate on international politics, Eastwest European Institute presented a redevelopment project for the “Roma sei mia” tender promoted by Municipality I. The small plaza opens on 21 September 2020 and the inauguration takes place on 17 November, followed by the first debate “Europe’s greatest capitals after Covid”.
Below are the photos of the event, which was attended by the mayor of Rome Virginia Raggi and the French ambassador to Italy Christian Masset.
