The Brexit negotiations are an uphill struggle. The divorce fee has been set, while the cost to the British economy of leaving the EU is anyone’s guess.

The future of the United Kingdom is becoming increasingly unclear. Now that the process of leaving the European Union (the “Brexit”) is underway, there are growing fears that the costs of the process will be much higher than first imagined. The huge gambit attempted by David Cameron, Nigel Farage’s lies and the illusions sewn by Theresa May have left a bitter aftertaste in London’s mouth. That is especially true as Brussels stands by its very firm approach to negotiations, causing an increasingly uphill battle for the United Kingdom.
