Jobs are shifting towards other continents and industrial sectors,creating winners and losers. Politicians must identify and implement new education and training systems.

Along with goods, globalisation is now causing jobs to travel around the world at great speed. Globalisation crosses borders, breaks things and processes up into smaller parts, specialises. With digitalisation, the internet has become a distribution hub for intellectual endeavours and is radically changing the service market as well as the market for physical goods. Retail outlets, the media, finance, all of which were once considered local sectors, have become exposed to globalisation. The kinds of work that these sectors require have thus also been undergoing very radical changes.
