Serbia’s fashion scene never disappeared, even during the darkest times. It survived thanks to the cosmopolitan spirit of the Serbs who consider themselves citizens of the world and thanks to the advent of young designers, some of whom perfected their skills abroad. This is how fashion is becoming a winning medium by which a new image of the country is re-launched into the world. Difficulties do however exist, as Iva Stefanovic tells us in this interview.
