United by the enemy

Two major regional powers, Saudi Arabia and Israel, must come to an understanding on how to face the threat posed by Iran.

The converging interests of two of the world’s oldest enemies has led the designated heir to the Saudi throne, Prince Mohamed Bin Salman, to visit the Israeli president, Bibi Netanyahu, in Tel Aviv. The trip is an exceptional example of how realpolitikal considerations can turn decades-old standoffs on their heads in a relatively short period of time.
