Nowadays, pancakes are almost famous all over the world. Quite often served for breakfast, there are several versions of them, both sweet and savoury: both served/made with fresh fruit, maple syrup or honey, crispy bacon or even just “all natural”, they are really simple to make.
Let's see what ingredients you will need.
For about 20 pancakes:
Mix the eggs with the sugar with the help of a whisk. Add the milk and melted butter and mix well. Stir in the flour and mix until smooth. Finally, add the yeast and the vanilla extract and mix for the last time.
Heat a non-stick frying pan to medium heat and grease it with a little butter, removing the excess with the help of a bit of kitchen paper.
With the help of a ladle, take a bit of dough and cook it into the pan. The pancake will be ready to be flipped when you’ll see some small little holes on the surface.
Cook it on the other side for about 30 seconds and then remove from heat and place on a plate. Continue so until you have finished the dough.
The tip: do not put the cooked pancakes over each other because they’ll become soft. If you like, you can also make the dough the night before, store it into the fridge covered with cling film and then use it for breakfast the next day.
