Bosnia and Herzegovina: 1914–2014

A hundred years that began with blood ends in renewed civil strife.

This year, the director inaugurated the event’s seventh edition with a theatrical reconstruction of the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand of Austria: a tragicomic performance that for Kusturica represents just the tip of the iceberg of his personal views on the First World War, which are reflected in a documentary he is currently making.
